Pass Guarantee

The promise

Do the work, and we stand behind it. If you complete the full DMV Permit Prep study path and all practice tests for your state and license class, and you still do not pass your official DMV knowledge (permit) test, we will refund what you paid for the app.

Who is eligible

• You purchased a DMV Permit Prep subscription (or one-time purchase) through the App Store, and your purchase was active on the day you took your official knowledge test.
• Before taking your official test, you completed 100% of the study path lessons and all practice tests in the app for the state and license class you were tested on.
• You took the official knowledge test for that same state and license class within 30 days of completing the content above.
• You did not pass that official knowledge test.

How to claim

1. Email us at support@gopermit.org within 30 days of your failed test with the subject line "Pass Guarantee".
2. Include proof of completion: we can verify your completion from your device — include screenshots of your Stats screen and completed study path, and keep the app installed on the same device in case we need to verify further.
3. Include proof of the failed test: a dated document from the DMV or testing location showing a failing result (for example, your score slip or examination record), plus the state and license class you tested for.
4. Include the email address or receipt information for your App Store purchase so we can locate it.

Fair-use conditions

• One claim per person. The guarantee can be used once per customer, household, and Apple account.
• The guarantee covers your official state knowledge (written/permit) test only — not the road/driving skills test, vision screening, or any other requirement.
• Completion must happen before the failed test attempt. Content completed after the test does not qualify.
• Claims with altered, incomplete, or unverifiable documentation may be declined. Fraudulent claims void the guarantee.
• Refunds are limited to amounts paid for DMV Permit Prep. We cannot refund DMV testing fees, travel, or other costs.

The honest fine print

DMV Permit Prep is a study aid. Every state writes and administers its own test, and we cannot guarantee any specific question will appear. This guarantee exists because we believe finishing the program genuinely prepares you — and if it doesn't work for you, you shouldn't have to pay.

This guarantee is offered by 1000904733 Ontario Inc. and may be updated for future purchases; the version in effect when you purchased applies to you. It supplements, and does not limit, any statutory rights or App Store refund rights you already have. See also our Terms of Use.
